I can’t watch the game tonight. That has been the case for far too many games this season, part of the reason I’ve been mostly MIA.
However with Scribe’s hopefully short hiatus I will try to pick up some slack while we cheer for the Kings and for Scribe’s family.
Florida beat the piss out of Anaheim the other night. I mention that only because it brings me joy. The Kings haven’t looked their best of late, partially due to the well documented shortcomings in the defensive lineup but also due to a general incongruence between the focused efforts and structure of the forwards’ play down the lines. Any game where they can put down a solid 60 minute effort without too much time playing on their heels will be good.
Personally I’m hoping Tanner Pearson picks up his play as it has dropped since opposing teams began to single him and his linemates out.
Welcome back to LA Willie Mitchell, now kindly piss off. I’ll love you again tomorrow.
Go Kings.
